1. The age limit for all these posts will be preferably less than 40 years. 2. Knowledge of Konkani is essential and Knowledge of Marathi is desirable. 3. The selected candidate will be stationed in different parts of the State. 4. The selected candidate shall have no claim in future for absorption in any regular job in State Govt. Service. 5. This is National Health Programme and the jobs created will not be regularized. The candidates fulfilling the above requirements for the posts are requested to attend the walk–in-Interview on the day, time and venue stated above at Directorate of Health Services, Panaji – Goa along with their Biodata and original copies of their certificates in proof of the Educational qualification, Birth, Residence (15 years) and Experience if any for verification. The copies duly attested by the Gazetted Officer/Notary/self attested stating that “The certificate is True copy of the original” should be submitted at the time of Registration. Candidates reporting after the end of registration time will not be allowed to attend the interview.

The National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) is an initiative which is being undertaken by the government of India to address the various types of the health needs of underserved people who are in the rural areas. This initiative have been launched in April 2005 by the then Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the NRHM whose main aim of the project is to identify the health needs of eighteen(18) states that had been identified as having the low or the weak public health indicators.The Union Cabinet which is being headed by Dr.Anbumani Ramadoss vide its decision which is dated 1st May 2013, has approved the launch of the National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) as a Sub-mission of an over-arching National Health Mission (NHM), with National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) being the other Sub-mission of National Health Mission. Under the NRHM, the Empowered Action Group (EAG) States as well as North Eastern States, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh have been given the mere special focus. The thrust of the mission is on establishing a fully functional, community owned, decentralized health delivery system with inter-sectoral convergence at all levels, to ensure the simultaneous action on a wide range of determinants of health which is as Pure water availability, Good sanitation, Healthy education, Healthy nutrition, excellent social and gender equality. Institutional integration within the fragmented health sector has been expected to provide a focus on the various outcomes which are being measured against the Indian Public Health Standards for all health facilities.The fund flow from the Central Government to the states/UTs would be as per the procedure prescribed by the Government of India.
