Pt. B.D.Sharma, PGIMS, Rohtak is situated at a distance of about 240 km from Chandigarh and about 70 km from Delhi on Delhi-Hissar-Sirsa-Fazilka National Highway (NH-10). It is the only major Institution for Medical Education and Research and a tertiary care centre for provision of specialized health care services not only to the people of the State of Haryana, but also to those from Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi and western U.P. The Institute was started under the name of Medical College, Rohtak in the year 1960. For the first three years, the students were admitted to Medical College, Patiala which acted as a host Institution. Applications are invited for the following vacant posts of Senior Residents and Demonstrators on Tenure basis in Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHS), Rohtak. The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the website www.uhsr.ac.in which must be accompanied by a crossed Demand Draft worth Rs. 500/- for General Category and Rs. 125/- for Reserved Categories (For Haryana Domicile only) in favour of Controller of Finance, Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. 50 % concession in the above fee is granted to the women candidates as per Govt. instructions. Applications, complete in all respects must reach the O/O the Assistant Registrar (Recruitment & Establishment), Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHS), Rohtak by 07.04.2015 upto 05:00 PM.
