Selection Procedure: Selection Procedure: Eligible candidates will be required to appear in the written examination. On the basis of their performance in the written examination they will be called for interview. Test Centres :Written Test will be held at Ranchi and Kolkata.
Training & Probation: Candidates selected as Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) will be placed on training for a maximum period of 2 Years which can be extended by another two years as per requirement. On successful completion of training period, they shall be regularized in S-3 grade in the pay scale of Rs.16800/- 3% – Rs.24110/- after successful completion of training candidates shall be placed under probation for one year

How To Apply SAIL Ranchi Recruitment 2015::
There are four stages of registration,
Primary Stage(New Registration) : In this stage the candidate has to enter his basic details and create a login id and password.
Secondary Stage(Login) : The candidate should login by entering his login id and password created by him in the first stage and then he has to enter his educational qualification, experience details, if any and upload his/her scanned photo and scanned signature. The scanned photograph and signature should be in jpg or jpeg format with less than 50 kb and 20 kb respectively.
Third Stage : The candidate should make payment through credit card/debit card/netbanking (or) enter the details of payment made through challan.
Fourth Stage : The candidate should upload the scanned copies of his certificate and submit in the confirmation page to complete the registration.
