Candidates applying in response to this advertisement must satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility (Essential & Upper age limit) for the aforesaid post and must fulfill all the eligibility criteria by the last date of Submission of the application. The essential educational qualification/eligibility specified is minimum and candidates with BSc.Nursing / BSc.(Hons.) Nursing/ Post Basic Bsc.Nursing, Post Basic Diplomas or higher qualifications are encouraged to apply. For filling up of online application, candidates must have the following pre requisites ready – Valid e-mail ID – Scanned Passport size photograph (in JPG format) – Scanned signature of the candidate (in JPG format) – Online payment of the required application fee 3. Payment through any other medium will not be accepted under any circumstances. * Physically Handicapped (OL) : One leg (OL)affected, left or right category persons would be considered for the job of Staff Nurse Grade-II under Physically Handicapped quota. Candidates will be considered for selection to such post by general standard of merit. Certificate of disability /Physical handicap from competent authority to be submitted at the time of interview which will be subject to verification by competent authority. 5. Preview of the candidate Photo and Signature must be clearly visible to candidate, if photo/signature image is coming small or not visible in preview on website online then it mean photo/signature is not as per the AIIMS, PATNA prescribed format and your application will be rejected. So, be careful while uploading your photo and signature. Both must be visible clearly on Registration Slip. 6. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and Government Servants*, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for the Physically Handicapped Persons. The upper age limit shall be determined as on the last date of registration of application as specified above. Note: (*Government Servant means Permanent (Regular) employees of Central/State Government) A) Written test will be held at PATNA Only. The candidates are advised to download their Admit Card from AIIMS, PATNA web site www.aiimspatna.org as no admit card will be sent by post. The Admit Cards will be hosted on AIIMS, PATNA website. B)Written Test :: The written test / examination consist of Objective type / Multiple Choice Questions. . The Syllabus for the written examination will be based on the Syllabus / Curriculum of Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery, General knowledge, English and Basic Computer applications. On the basis of merit of written test the candidates a minimum of 3 times the number of Posts advertised will be short listed for Interview. Appearance in the interview is mandatory. Date and Time of Interview will be intimated to such candidates separately in due course. 7. Candidates applying under the reserved category viz. SC/ST/OBC/PH(OL) will be considered subject to submission of Caste / PH certificate on the prescribed format issued by the competent authority. OBC candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer. Their caste should tally with the Central List of OBC, failing which their candidature will be treated as Unreserved/General category. 8. All the original certificates/documents will be verified at the time of Interview. On the basis of written test, the shortlisted candidates must bring all original certificates along with one set of photocopy, duly attested, viz.: i) Copy of downloaded Registration Slip & on-line application form. ii) Certificate showing the Date of Birth. iii) Certificate of passing Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized University/Board. iv) Certificate(s) of Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery / Bsc.Nursing / BSc (Hons.) Nursing/Post Basic BSc.Nursing from recognized Institution. v) Registration certificate as „A‟ grade Nurse and Midwife from State Nursing Council. vi) Caste certificate if applied under SC/ST/OBC category issued by the competent authority. vii) Disability Certificate, if applied under PH-(OL) category. viii) No Objection Certificate‟ if in regular employment. ix) Experience certificate(s), if any. 13 The offer of appointment when made will be provisional and subject to verification of credentials by competent authority. 14 The period of Probation shall be of 2 years. 15 The number of vacancies are provisional and subject to variation. 16 No TA/DA shall be admissible for appearing in the written test or Interview. 17 Appointment of selected candidates is subject to his/her being declared medically fit by competent Medical Board. 18 Those who are in regular employment must submit a “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” from the employers at the time of Interview. 19 The candidates must ensure that they fulfill eligibility criteria and that the particulars furnished by them in the application are correct in all respects.
