Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) is one of the major coal producing company of India. It is one of the eight subsidiaries of Coal India Limited. Mahanadi Coalfields Limited was carved out of South Eastern Coalfields Limited in 1992 with its headquarters at Sambalpur. It has its coal mines spread across Odisha. It has total seven open cast mines and three underground mines under its fold. MCL has two subsidiaries with private companies as a joint venture. The name of these companies are MJSJ Coal Limited & MNH Shakti Ltd.Total Mining Projects sanctioned till date are 52 (including 2 exhausted projects). The rated production capacity of these sanctioned projects is 249.41 Mty. The total capital outlay of these projects is Rs 11138.89 Crores. Out of which 34 have been completed with capacity 98.08 MTY and sanctioned capital investment of Rs 2823.78 Crs. Selection Procedure for Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) – Mining Sirdar, Deputy Surveyor Post:
Candidates can apply on or before 20/7/2015 & 04/08/2015. The Selection methodology will comprise of written test and interview. The candidates short listed in the written test shall only be eligible to appear for interview. Written Test (80 Marks): – Eligible candidates will be required to appear in written test at any one of test centers. Exact schedule of written test along with the course content shall be displayed on MCL website (www.mcl.gov.in) in due course.
