Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati commenced in 1995. At present the Institute has eleven departments and three inter-disciplinary academic centres covering all the major engineering, science and humanities disciplines, offering BTech, BDes, MA, MDes, MTech, MSc and PhD programmes. Within a short period of time, IIT Guwahati has been able to build up world class infrastructure for carrying out advanced research and has been equipped with state-of-the-art scientific and engineering instruments. Interested candidates must carry their application, bio-data giving all educational qualifications and experiences in details along with original & photocopies of relevant documents, two passport size photographs and no objection certificate from their employer (in case of Govt. employee) at the time of walk in interview to be held on 7 th July 2015 at 9:00 am onwards in the Students’ Affairs Office, IIT Guwahati, Guwahati – 781 039. For coaches, preference will be given to those having coaching diploma with experience. Remuneration: Negotiable (Maximum Rs.1000/- per day). The total numbers of likely engagements in the entire period will be approximately 240 days.
